04.10.10:
Our 2010 regular season ended with a loss to the Phoenix Outlaws, our offense began clicking in the 2nd half, but the team fell short in the final minute, during the game we had several players injured, with a huge loss LB Robert Joyce unable to finish the game and his season over, QB George Preciado, FB Shannon Norman & LB Rocky Morrison also suffered game injuries.    Patriots went to the 1st round of playoffs against Arizona Thunder, the game was well played on both sides of the ball, Patriots were short 3 players on the Defense and 2 players on the Offense, the game came down to the final seconds.  The Thunder was victorious, and the Patriots season was over for 2010.   Although the Patriots fell short in getting to the Semi-finals, the team showed greatness and ability to overcome obstacles and grow stronger each and every week, the Patriots will be back for our 5th year.

Patriots Defense was #1 in the League overall, Passing Def #1 and Rushing Def #2, League Leaders, Calvin Johnson #1 for interceptions, Robert Joyce was #2 for tackles, Ramel McIntosh #2 for Sacks.  Patriots Offense was 3rd in the league overall, Passing Off #2 and Rushing Off #4, League leaders George Preciado #4 Passing yards and BT #2 Receiving yards.    Special Teams had players in top 5 all categories, Kicker Mike Navaro #4, Punter Ronnie Hicks #5, Kick Return Trammel McGill #5 and Punt Return Chris Vaughn #1.   Every year this team grows and improves, continues to recruit new players to not only the team but to the league and will continue to do so.

03.24.10:
Patriots are putting a wrap on the regular season this coming Saturday against the Phoenix Outlaws, game time is at 7:00 pm, we are expecting another good game against the longest running team.   Over the past several weeks the Patriots have endured several injuries, 4 Players suffered season ending injuries and we wish all of them a complete and speedy recovery, 23 James McCullom, 24 Bobby Brandon, 82 Mason Massey and 90 Greg Belarde.   We have also secured some wins and lost 2 games, falling to the Bulldogs in a well played game through the falling rain, then a second loss to the Mustangs that was a Defensive game all the way.     The team continues to grow and make adjustments to improve, penalties from the start of the season has reduced 10 fold and we will be clicking on all gears as we finish the regular season this weekend and move to the playoffs.

02.14.10:
Patriots and Sting have always had great games and this last Saturday's game was another great one.   The Patriots struggled on the Defense, which has been solid in the prior games this 2010 season, but overcame and forced the Sting to kick a fieldgoal in the final minutes of the game, Patriots offense had a good thing going between George and Geoff that resulted in 2 TD's, another TD with a pass completion from Geoff to BT and Patriot Kicker Mike Navarro went 2 for 2 on FG's, with the winning Field Goal with 5.5 seconds left on the clock, Patriots sealed the W.   Always respect for the Sting organization, Patriots prepare for another test against the Bulldogs this coming week.

2.07.10:
Patriots Coaching Staff was more then prepared for the Rangers, but not so much for the the Officals calls in the 1st half it certainly left a lot to be desired.  Patriot players and Staff overcame the 1st half adversity and closed the door on the Rangers.  Patriots defeated the Rangers in a hard fought battle 14-10, Patriots defense forced 4 turnovers, offense struggled a bit until the George to Geoff passing resulted in a TD, the momentum shifted and the Patriots Offense took command.   Patriots get the W and prepare for a battle as always with the Sting.

01.31.10:

Patriots played against the EV Mustangs this past Saturday, Defense dominated on both sides of the ball throughout the game, Patriots fell short with 2 failed punt attempts, resulting in 1 TD, and excellent field position to the Mustangs later in the game to take over on their own 10 yard line, Mustangs scored a second TD.   Patriots offense scored in the 1st half and moved the ball with several completions, but scored only once more along with a 2 point conversion the score Mustangs 21, Patriots 14.  With 2 minutes left Patriots attempted an onside, Mustangs recovered, Patriot coaches making use of the timeouts, Patriots Defense held them to 3 and out, Mustangs Punted the ball with a little less then a minute left in the game, Patriots unable to score, game resulted in a loss to the Mustangs 21 to 14.   Patriots offense passed for 209 yards, rushed 57 yards, defense held the Mustangs to 156 total yards, had 3 interceptions and one fumble recovery.  Patriots Offense is sitting overall 660 yards second behind the Rangers, while the Patriots Defense is sitting on the top overall with allowing 174 yards thus far.  Next weeks game against the proven Rangers will be a very exciting game.  See everyone at 10:00 am.
